The Library is one of my favorite downtown hangout spots! It's a relaxed, chill environment with options of music from the jukebox and live bands or a dj during the weekend. The beer is always extra cold and they have delicious chili powder for the rim, makes my mouth water just thinking about it! The Library has a full bar and excellent food/dessert options, as well. MUST TRY THE JALAPEÑO POPPERS! If you're from Brownsville make sure to stop by, and support your historic downtown bars and restaurants.

The burgers remind me of a smash burger you’d order at diner that’s been in business for decades — great, consistent and the taste that makes you feel at home. The ambiance is nice. Sometimes the music is a little annoying since it’s TouchTunes and it depends on what folks are playing; that’s also part of the fun though. Drinks are good & prices are reasonable! If I can’t think of somewhere new to go or try, then this is always my go to. If I’m craving a burger (which isn’t often) this is the kind I want.

One of my favorite bars to go to downtown. Every time I go, I’m definitely not disappointed by the quality of drinks and quantity of options. Their flavored Martini’s and mules are definitely a staple and for a reason. Super delicious. I’m not a whiskey person, but my friends love old fashion know they’ll get different kinds of options for great old fashions here. Everyone super kind and friendly. Definitely a great spot to start a bar crawl. Food is also Surprisingly good! I was expecting typical bar food but was definitely surprised by Panchos and burgers! Some of the best tacos I’ve had! 5/5 for me!
